Istomin, Rokossovsky and Partners is a national law firm founded in 2003 under the Federal Law On the Attorneys’ Activities and the Bar in the Russian Federation. The successor to the one of the oldest law firms in Russia, Injurcollegia, established back in 1937, Istomin, Rokossovsky and Partners is one of the most recognized law firms in Moscow.
Our attorneys provide legal advice on a broad range of legal issues in all areas of law in strict compliance with the highest professional and ethical standards. We started as a litigation firm, and dispute resolution is still one of the Law firm’s strongest practices. Our attorneys boast extensive litigation and arbitration practice in dealing with corporate, real estate, intellectual property and tax disputes. The Law firm has extensive experience is both judicial and out-of-court dispute resolution in challenging cases. Our professional experience in litigation allows us to provide quality legal services in wide range of legal matters and to expand our practice into many other legal fields.
We offer legal services to corporations, state bodies and private individuals. In 2019 we run a new project – IRP Business, which aim is to provide legal support to our client’s business projects.

Sergey graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1982. Held senior positions in the Prosecutor's Office until 1991, worked as an attorney for the Law Office for International Affairs 1994 through 2003, chaired Istomin, Rokossovsky, and Partners in 2003 (No. 77/940 in the Moscow Register of Attorneys). He has many years of experience in the field of commercial and corporate law, legislation on taxes and fees, as well as criminal law. Sergey deals with many challenging and large-scale business projects, including the assessment of strategic risks and planning economic activities in strict compliance with law. As the Firm founder Sergey leads the team of lawyers in keeping with the traditions of the high quality of legal services.

PAVEL ROKOSSOVSKY
Senior PartnerPavel Rokossovsky graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1982. He worked for the public prosecution bodies in 1982 through 1990, worked as an attorney for the Law Office for International Affairs 1994 through 2003, and co-founded the Firm in 2003 (No. 77/3035 in the Moscow Register of Attorneys). He has a solid experience of judicial and arbitration practice in numerous civil, commercial, family and labor disputes. While committed to his professional mission and unique approach, he develops judicial strategies, including the court presentation of client's legal reasoning related to the facts of the case. He is a co-founder of the Law firm and is the head of the litigation practice. He is awarded with the 1st and 2nd class medals “For Merits in Protection of Civil Rights and Freedoms”.

ANTON ISTOMIN
Managing PartnerAnton graduated from the law faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University and joined our team in 2009. He was an arbitrator of the arbitration court. Currently he is a member of the Moscow City Bar (No. 77/10480 in the Moscow Register of Attorneys). Anton is in charge of the Firm’s special projects and manages relations with corporate clients to handle the relevant business matters. Anton leads our business support practice – IRP Business. He provides comprehensive business services related to commercial and administrative law and develops business management concepts to minimize risks and implement clients' business ideas.

MARIA ISTOMINA
PartnerMaria graduated from the law faculty of Lomonosov State Moscow University. She started her practice with a German consulting company in 2006. Until 2016, she was an arbitrator. Maria joined Istomin, Rokossovsky, and Partners as a lawyer in 2011 (No. 77/10480 in the Moscow Register of Attorneys). Maria effectively represents her clients before supervising bodies and the courts of all instances and guarantees the execution of remedies for infringement of rights. She deals with a wide range of issues related to corporate law, real estate, securities, and bankruptcy proceedings. Maria is the head of our insolvency practice.

MARIA RUSOVA
PartnerMaria Rusova graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2001. She worked for the Prosecutor's Office in 1994 - 1996, led legal departments in corporations in 1996 - 2002, and became certified as a lawyer in 2002 (No. 77/4454 in the Moscow Register of Attorneys). She joined Istomin, Rokossovsky and Partners in 2003. Maria is highly qualified in commercial, business, merchant, and corporate law. She tackles complex business issues of clients, such as legal analysis and contractual matters, to build a reliable contractual relations system, both inside and outside of the client's business.

DMITRY SEMENNIKOV
PartnerDmitry graduated from the faculty of law at Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is a licensed attorney (No. 50/7377 in the Moscow Regional Register of Attorneys) and a member of the Regional Mediation Union and the Civic Council of the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Moscow. Dmitry leads the intellectual property practice and develops patterns related to copyrights and license and copyright disposal agreements and is responsible for comprehensive intellectual property protection, including exclusive copyright and trademark protection and represents clients in patent disputes. He grants consistent legal support to producers and performers and manages relations with the Russian Authors Society and World Intellectual Property Organisation.

TATIANA SEMENOVA
PartnerGraduated from Kutafin Moscow State Law University. Tatiana is a certified attorney (No. 77/13584 in the Moscow Register of Attorneys). Before joining the Firm, she worked in the telecommunications sector for one of the largest communications providers within the Russia's largest branch network. She dealt with issues related to labor and telecommunications law. Tatiana leads our TMT practice. Tatiana is highly skilled in negotiations and settlement agreements in the conflict of interests and has settled numerous property and business disputes with the anti-monopoly service related to trading and competition.

ALEXEY OSPENNIKOV
PartnerHe graduated from Moscow State Legal Academy in 2001 majoring in criminal proceedings. He began his career in the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation and numerous positions as investigator at Khamoviniki Moscow District Prosecutor's Office, senior investigator and major case detective at Central Moscow District Prosecutor's Office, counsel and senior counsel for the prosecution at the Moscow City Prosecutor's Office, and deputy and first deputy of the Khoroshevsky district prosecutor of Moscow. He left the Prosecutor's Office as a deputy prosecutor of the South-Western Administrative District of Moscow. In November 2011, he joined Istomin, Rokossovsky, and Partners. He represents clients in criminal cases related to fraud, corruption, and particularly serious offences.
